  1. Phases I said in the past that started to feel wrong. - I have a lot of empathy, but... I started to think about the sentence and having empathy. Something seems odd, either you can empathise with someone or not

      But isn't about "having empathy", it's about connecting with someone. I can connect a lot with a person, but it doesn't mean I can empathise with someone else. Being able to empathise with someone doesn't mean "you have a lot of empathy so you can empathise with everyone"

        So, now I would say something like - I'm able to empathise with you - I'm struggling to empathise with you So, it's more about the current situation with the other person rather than using the argument that I had empahised with other people so I can feel you as well
