@LeXavTwit @EsseValentina I have a similar feeling as you @LeXavTwit. The popularity of MEAN stack replaced so fast the LAMP. ~10 years ago there was this conception of Mongo being "Web Scale" (congrats for the marketing BTW), then we moved to microservices hype, hiding the importance of DB IMHO

@LeXavTwit @EsseValentina During that time, I found the conversations being around "This services does too much, that's why it's slow, we should split into two services to be more scalable" This idea was more adopted because of the hype vs focusing on the service itself and finding viable solutions

@LeXavTwit @EsseValentina We didn't have enough conversations about DB design, bottlenecks and optimizations. Is it not cool enough? I don't know your case but the more I learn about @PostgreSQL , the more I like how it solves the problems

@LeXavTwit @EsseValentina @PostgreSQL BTW, I say this because 10 years ago, I was doing that stuff. "SQL sucks, Mongo for the win" Today, I just rely more and more into SQL as a viable solution for most of our problems ☺️
