    1. Sometimes, dedicating people to specific problems just make them more complex than they should be just because they have the time to do so. Yet, that's far about what's engineering mindset. IMHO, engineering is about going from problem to solution with the shortest distance.

    Yet, the first picture is so unrealistic, because it has the context of understanding the problem so well, and knowing the solution in perfection. This situation never happens, or you are just solving the same problem over and over.
