Uhm.. 🤔 XML wasn't that badly designed after all. It was all the messy code around it due to the lack of proper APIs that made it cumbersome to use. JSON has a good Developer Experience but it lacks some powerful features of XML. We might have missed improving the XML API 😓On twitter.com

I think that in some time a company with enough influence will republish XML with a cooler name and the proper tooling around it. XML will become the new thing to solve YAML in the next years 🤣Permalink On twitter.com
